Teacher raped physically challenged girl before taking her nude photos. The raping of a physically challenged girl by a teacher of a high school has created sensation in the state. The incident occurred at Baghmari village in Biswanath sub-division of Sonitpur district, Assam in India on September 4.

According to information Suresh Ojha a Hindi teacher of Monabari High School tied hands and feet of a physically challenged girl before raping her twice. The teacher even video recorded the naked girl after committing the heinous crime and threatened the girl not to disclose the matter to her relatives. According to Raja Chetri, a close relative of the victim a case had already been registered at the Sub-divisional Judicial Magistrate’s court.

He also alleged that instead of arresting the culprit, police only allowed the culprit to escape free. He said that family members of the accused Hindi teacher Suresh Ojha had been busy to manage the members of the poor girl.

Various organizations including AASU (All Assam Students’ Association);ATSA (All Assam Tea garden Students; Association); Gorkha Students’ Association and various local women bodies have launched agitation condemning the act. They have submitted an ultimatum to the authority to apprehend the culprit within 24 hours time.
